Performing at the Brooks Atkinson Theater, Rock of Ages also offers a lot of familiar tunes from the 90s and 2000s; the show is certainly attractive in a lot of ways.
The New York Times described Rock of Ages as “a seriously silly, absurdly enjoyable arena-rock musical”, and they couldn’t be more correct. This Broadway performance is very funny yet elegant, in a way that makes it highly enjoyable. The main theme behind this show can be summed up as the “good old days”. With 1980s Los Angeles as the main setting, the Sunset Strip to be more specific.
